Gwynna Forgham-Thrift is a writer and producer who’s work centers around sports, culture, politics, and queerness. In 2015, Gwynna was selected as a writer for the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York. She wrote for the theater’s house sketch comedy show Maude Night on long running teams (212), Charles, and Pretty Boys. She also wrote for Queerball: The Sketch Show! for it's 9 month run, and co-created and wrote for The Swamp: This Month In PoliticsUCBTNY's monthly political sketch show. Gwynna also performs comedy around the city, and wrote and produced shows Queer Tiger Beat, an all-queer monthly variety show at Duplex Cabaret, and Dyke Power (point), a 45 minute two-person show performed at UCB East and Caveat Theater. Gwynna has contributed writing to Reductress and Above Average, and made a short film called Lucy and the Stars which was an official selection in the Northside Film FestivalGwynna loves the WNBA, being outside, and that time San Diego set off all of it's fireworks all at once by accident
